Hello all! Kia back with you to share my second card for the day. My first being made for the Scrap'n Stamp blog hop, and this card made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com.
Our Inspiration site this week is hosted by Amy and she has picked "Tilly's" for our site. I picked this "Tee" as my inspiration piece. It is a bear and it is blue! lol
I have been wanting to use this Honey Bee stamp from the Woodland Winter Animals set for some time, but he kept getting nixed. I was determined to use him for this challenge.
My cardbase is Neenah 110lb. cardstock. To the front of my card I glued on using Art Glitter glue a piece of Lawn Fawn's "Starry Skies" designer paper.
I then glued in place the snowbanks, which I swiped with Tumbled Glass oxide ink. To colour the Bear I used Copic colours in E59, E57, E55 and E53, with RV14 on his cheeks.
For his scarf I used Copic colours B04, B06, B16 and BG49. Once I was finished the colour I fussy cut the Bear and attached him to my card front using foam tape.
Moving on I stamped the Penny Black sentiment from the set called Snowflakes Season using VersaFine Clair Ink in Twilight.
On the inside I glued a piece of the designer paper to a piece of Hammermill cardstock cut to fit the card. I am not sure what sentiment I will use, something I usually leave until I mail the card.
I am happy I finally got him coloured up for a card. He is so cute!
Thanks so much for visiting today.
See you next time.
