Happy Valentine Day

 

This is Happy Valentine Day.

A card that I made for a friend who will be visiting me tomorrow, Valentine's Day. The design is different for Valentine's Day, there are leaves in the background that were done using a leaf by Pinkfresh Stamps and Dies Detailed Leaf.

I made a puddle of the Salvaged Patina ink and dragged my stamp through the ink then applied it to the watercolour paper card front and put aside to let dry.

I then die cut the geometric circles die, and trimmed it as I did not want a frame. I pressed the piece into my Salvaged Patina ink pad until it was covered with the ink and to the back added Art Glitter glue to attach the piece to my card panel, then glued the panel to my Neenah card base.

In my mini Misti I stamped the bunnies using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black then lightly outlined with RV63 Copic marker. For the grass I used YG11 Copic then added foam dots to prop it up. 

I took the prongs off the two hearts and glued them in place using foam dots and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous.

I then moved to the inside of the card and using my printer I added the sentiment to a 4x5.25 piece of cardstock. Along with the sentiment I added the heart square, and over that I added a decoration from Echo Park Love Notes 6x6 paper pad.
