Meet "Winter Watercolour".
I am hosting Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com today, and have picked this video for our challenge.
The background I taped off for the border, then did the background using Daniel Smith Prussian Blue and Phthalo Green. I let this dry naturally, which took a little time, but I think is worth the effort.
I then painted painted the trees and branches using Daniel Smith Sepia, then added white Gouache replicating snow on the branches.
Once the snow was finished I added the bokeh circles using the methods shown in the video, which was easier than I thought it would be.
To finish up I attached my watercolour using foam tape to a Gina K Design card in Black Onyx.
I am happy with the way this turned out, and I hope you have enjoyed this painting as well.
See you next time.
