Snow Day

 

This is "Snow Day".

This card I made for the Inspiration Challenge where our hostess Julie has picked Doodle and Stitch for our Inspirtation Site. They also have a Pinterest site.

My inspiration came from this picture.

I have a few of these stamps by Crafters Companion and find them so fun, and great fun to colour. This stamp is Have an Ice Day.

I first stamped the image using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and proceeded to colour using Copic markers in the dark reds and gray's with bits of blue.

Once I finished with the colour I die cut the piece using Spellbinders Hemstitch dies, which is no longer made. For the background I embossed the entire card using the Argyle Socks embossing folder.

For the sentiment I am using Papertrey Ink's stamp set called Snow, which I stamped with VersaFine

Clair ink in Blue Belle.

I attached the circle die using Art Glitter glue to the front of my card to finish.
