A Colorful Life Designs March 2024 Release

I watercoloured using paints by Roman Szmal for these bright colours, then went around the edge with a black marker to give the appearance of another layer.

On this card I used distressed oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Kitsch Flamingo for the tulip flowers and Mowed Lawn distress oxide for the stems and leaves. For the inside I flipped the stencil and made the imprint.

This card consists of a two part stencil. The first stencil was the Groovy Flower Mask, which was previously released. Today the Groovy Flowers Solid is beaing released. I used Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord distress oxide inks for colour and went over the piece using Micro Glaze. I then added the Long Birthday stencil on pop dots to finish.

I wanted to keep it soft looking so used Speckled Egg and Lost Shadow distress oxide inks for my colours. I was worried about the colours, but as it turned out I really like the look.

Meet Tridots.
I love how this turned out. For colour I used Salvaged Patina, Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide inks. I then stamped the panel using Hero Arts Wildflowers. I also flipped the stencil for the inside panel.

This is Radiant Cross.
I painted this using Kuretake Gold watercolour, which is what I wanted the whole piece to be in. There is also Wink of Stella on the rays, but of course it does not show up. I then die cut the piece using my Wonky Rectangle die.

For the bunny I also wanted to keep the colours fairly light, so I used a sea sponge to apply the colours. Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina and Spiced Marmalade. I also added the eye for a bit of whimsy.

I decided I would just have fun with this stencil, so I traced it and cut it out. I added watercolours in different colours of watercolour. I attached the bunny between two pieces of the frame for it to appear as though he is popping through. Great fun!

A fun stencil called Eat Cake.
I used Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry distress oxide inks. I love these colours together. I also added a flower from Altenew to my design.

This is such a fun stencil to do. I used Blueprint Sketch, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers distress oxide inks for colour. You are best to pick 4 colours for continuity. I then added a stamped and die cut butterfly to the centre, which would be white normally.

One cannot help but have a giggle when working with these stencils. So fun! I used Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron distress oxide inks.

More fun using the Monsters. I added texture to the background by using a embossing folder, then stenciled using the Curvy Path stencil. Added the Monsters which I fussy cut and added with pop dots along with the frame.
