ScrapnStamp March 2024 Birthday Bash hop

 

Welcome to Scrap'n Stamps 16th birthday. It is nice to have you join us today. First I will take care of business. We have a sale running until March 6th at midnight for 16% off.

Moving on to my card for today. I am using Sunny Studio Love Birds today. I have to say I had a lot of fun making this card. I have not played with layers for awhile, so it was a nice change.

I colour using Copic markers in YG07, YG09, YG11 and G05; Y06, Y08, Y38, YR14 and YR18; E53 and E57.

The embossed green piece in the background is embossed with Honey Bee Spring Medley embossing folder and attached using Art Glitter glue. 

The second layer is done using Opaque Texture paste mixed with a bit of distress ink in Mustard Seed mixed in applied to Heffy Doodle stencil Lots of Happy. I waited for it to dry, then attached it to the card on angle using Art Glitter glue. 

Using the coordinating dies I die cut the birds, tree branches and leaves. I attached the tree branches using foam strips and glued the leaves in place. 

I then glued the birds in place using glue around their feet and a small pop dot under each of their heads.

To finish up, in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and attached it in place using foam strips.
