Bear Hugs

 

This is "Bear Hugs".

I fell for this adorable Bear Hugs stamp and die set the minute I saw it, and yes another one of those had to have! He is just too cute to pass up though.

My background today is done using an embossing folder by Altenew called Curving Leaves which I coloured using Copic markers in YG03 and YG25.

When I embossed the background I also embossed a circle which I had die cut previously. This lined up the circle die with the background embossing.

In my mini Misti I stamped the Bear using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and proceeded to colour using Copic markers in W4, W5, W6, W7, E40 and E42.

While I had my Misti out I stamped the two sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I then put the front of the card together, attaching first the embossed background, then adding the circle die using foam tape.

I then attached the Bear and the sentiment strip with foam squares and glued a second branch over the first branch which I had made earlier.

Moving to the inside I attached the embossed piece to my cardbase and coloured the leaves around the sentiment area using the same Copic markers in YG03 and YG25.

I attached the sentiment piece using thin foam squares.

To finish up I added sequins to the card front in light blues and greens and called it done.
