This is Cherry Blossom. The painting I have done for today's Watercolour Wednesday challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting today's challenge and picked this challenge.
For my card I am using Arches cold press cut to 5.25" square, and have attached it on Gina K Designs Grass Green cardbase.
I used Daniel Smith watercolours to paint this card in the colours that are listed in her video details, and I also used some of the same mixes she has used for this.
I am one of those painters that rarely does anything in a pale colour. I admit, I don't gravitate to pale colours, instead I am always reaching for the colours with impact.
I did try to tone the flower colour down a bit, with little success. I need to work on that. But I do like the way it has turned out.
Thank you for visiting with me today.
See you next time.
