It is Wednesday at that means it is time for our Watercolour Wednesday challenge. Today Brenda is our hostess and she has asked that we view this video and paint a daisy.
Once watching the video I went my own way. I am using Daniel Smith watercolours for this card today. I used Hansa Yellow and Chromium Cerulean Blue for my background colours, and while wet I did manage to remember to sprinkle with the sea salt.
It took awhile for the piece to dry as I did not want to use my heat gun and blow away the salt. So I waited, and waited! lol
For the flower I used Neutral Tint and the Cerulean Blue. The flower centre is Hansa Yellow and Naples Yellow along with Organic Vermillion and the stem and leaves are Serpentine Genuine.
This painting is one I can actually say I like, and I hope you do as well.
Thanks so much for dropping in.
See you next time.
