Embrace this Moment

 

Meet "Embrace this Moment".

This is a simple card to make, using two colours of distress ink and white embossing powder along with Neenah and Hammermill cardstock.

Cutting the top paper piece to 5x3.75 and in my mini Misti I stamped the Gina K Designs Elegant Aster flowers using white embossing powder and heat set. 

I then added the colours of distress ink in Saltwater Taffy and  Abandoned Coral using my Waffle Flower Shader Pack blenders to apply the inks.

Again, in my Misti, I stamped the Butterfly and die cut it with the coordinating die then added the same colours. I added three black Pearls to the Butterfly to tie in my matting. 

I did the matting using a piece of Hammermill cardstock and a #110 Copic marker, adding just enough marker to make the framing.

To put it all together I attached the black matting piece to my card front panel then attached the piece to my Neenah cardbase. I added the Butterfly using foam circles and the sentiment, which I also inked with the same colours and attached using foam strips.

Moving to the inside of the card I stamped and heat embossed another one of the flowers and inked up using the distress inks in the Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral.

I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Ink in Nocturne and trimmed it up to a smaller piece, attaching it to the inside of the card using thin foam squares.
