Welcome to "Happy Blooms".
While making this card I was smiling big time - I so like these flowers which were a freebie from Scrapbook.com, and I have little doubt I will use them again.
For my card base I am using Gina K Designs Black Onyx. I die cut all the flowers that I would need first, then went about the colouring, where I used distress oxide inks on the petals, and Copic marker on the flower centre.
The distress oxide ink colours are from top left: Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Tisted Citron, Candied Apple, Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet.
For the flower centres I used Copic marker Y08. Once all were coloured I glued the coloured petals to the white scalloped backgrounds for each flower, then proceeded to glue the flowers in place on my card front.
I then glued on the flower centres.
For my sentiments I am using Hero Arts Wild Flowers, which are perfect as I am sending this card to a friend. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Nocturne for the front of my card and die cut it with the coordinating die.
Moving to the inside of the card I cut a piece of white cardstock 5"x3.75".
I glued the flower in place, then in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and attached the piece to the inside of my card to finish.
I think it is such a cute card, and I hope you enjoy it as well. Thanks so much for visiting with me today.
See you next time.
