Meet "Panda Bear".
I made this card for the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com., where we are visiting Daily Paintworks.com for inspiration. I found this picture for my inspiration.
My Bear is by Colorado Craft Company and is called Bear Hugs, which also comes with the coordinating die.
I coloured the Bear using Copic markers in C6, C9, W6, YG63 and R83.
I started with my cardbase which is Neenah 110lb cardstock. I also used the same cardstock to emboss the trellis pieces, which comes from Spellbinders and is called Bamboo Trellis.
First however, I die cut the circle using Honey Bee Sweet Stacks. I then embossed the cardstock using the Bamboo Trellis.
I also embossed a piece of the Neenah cardstock for the inside of the card, again using the Bamboo Trellis embossing folder.
I glued the die cut circle to the card front using Art Glitter glue. I then added foam tape to the back of the left over piece of embossed trellis card and tucked my Bear in place before attaching this piece to my card front.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiments using Charming Pink ink by VersaFine Clair Ink, then die cut these using the coordinating dies.
I then glued the sentiments in place using Art Glitter glue.
That finishes this card for the challenge. This was fun to make with the Bear peeking out from the circle die, he is having a look around.
Thank you for visiting.
See you next time.
