So Sweet

This is "So Sweet".

A beautiful stamp set by Pinkfresh Studios called Pure Joy which also has the coordinating die set available. As you can see from the above picture, when put together it creates a wonderful card.

To colour I used Copic markers as follows: Leaves G5; G19; Bird BG02, BG05; Flowers Y02, Y08 and Y11; Beak C3, C5 and chest E41 and E81.

I layed out the die cuts on Gina K Designs Blue Raspberry cardstock which had been cut using the partial circle die from the set.

To slightly lighten the leaves I went over the greens using Copic Y11, which adds light rather than colour. I hope that makes sense.

The dies are left in place once cut from the overall design. One at a time, I removed the die and added glue to the back, then replaced it adhering it to the blue cardstock.

Once I have completed adhering all the dies I removed the cutting piece, which removes the left over white cardstock and gives the finished appearance. I then attached the circle piece to my cardbase using foam tape.

In my mini Misti I then stamped the sentiment from the set using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I also stamped and die cut a sentiment for the inside which is from Pinkfresh Happy Vibes with coordinating dies.

I attached the sentiment inside using thin foam squares.

That finishes this card. Now that I know how it works I need to do another to get some practice in and get better cuts.
