Meet "Sunshine and Rainbows".
This card I made for the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting the challenge this week and have picked A Beautiful Mess for my inspiration site, along with their Pinterest site.
My inspiration for this card came from this pillow.
I started my design with the background, using an embossing folder by Altenew called Organic Linen. I then die cut the rainbow pieces using the Rainbow Accents dies.
Using the coordinating stamp set in my Misti I stamped each of the rainbow pieces using the Copics for the softer colours and distress oxide inks for the deeper colours.
The lighter colours are V02, RV21, Y04, G12 and B01. The oxide colours are Wilted Violet, Kitsch Flamingo, Mustard Seed, Shabby Shutters and Tumbled Glass.
Using the Rainbow Builder I die cut the Clouds and the Sun. The Sun I cut from white glitter cardstock, then coloured it with my Copic marker Y04.
I stamped the sentiments, including those on the inside of the card, using VersaFine Clair inks in Fantasia, then die cut the sentiments with the coordinating dies.
For the "Rainbow" word I used the Kitsch Flamingo distress oxide ink. I also used Pinkfresh gems on the card front for decoration.
This finished my card for today. I do hope you have enjoyed seeing the Rainbow! Thanks so much for your visit.
See you next time.
