Friends are Flowers

 

This is "Friends are Flowers".

To start off this card I first embossed two sheets of Hammermill cardstock using my Spellbinders Luxe Backdrop and Border embossing folder and attached these to my Neenah cardbase on the outside and inside of the card.

In my mini Misti I stamped the Pinkfresh Flowers from the set You're the Best using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then coloured the flowers using the following Copic markers.

R11, R32, R14, Y19, G02 and G05.

I also coloured one of the flowers for inside the card. These stamps and dies come as one stamp, you stamp them all at the same time, and you die cut them at the same time. I hope that makes sense.

Even though they come as one you can still do just one flower, as I did for the inside of my card.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiments from the Honey Bee set called My Favorite Flower, using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne then die cut the sentiments with the coordinating dies.

I then arranged the flowers on the front of my card and attached using foam squares and attached the sentiments using foam strips.

I finished by attaching the flower and sentiment inside the card, using thin foam squares for the back of the flower and the sentiment. I then added a few gems to the front of the card using Pinkfresh Pixie Dust.
