This is "Garden of Life".
I made this card for Watercolour Wednesday this week. Angela is our hostess and she has asked that we use watercolour powders in our designs this week.
I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper for my card panels today. In order to ensure I did not have any leaks I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray adhesive.
For my card I picked a stencil by A Colorful Life Designs called Tropical Flowers. For my colour I used Color Burst powders in Alizarin Crimson, Fuchsia and Lemon Yellow.
My stencil is 6x9 inches, so I was able to get enough for both the front of my card and the inside. My cardbase is from Gina K Designs called Wild Dandelion.
My sentiments are from Honey Bee Stamps and called My Favorite Flower. I also used the coordinating dies running them through my Anna Griffin Empress machine.
The sentiment on my card front are propped up on foam strips. For the inside of my card I used thin foam squares.
Following is a picture of the inside of my card - the colour rather bright from the yellow cardstock.
It has been a long time since I have used my powders, so I very much enjoyed this challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed this card as well.
See you next time.
