Swimming

 

This is "Swimming".

This is a sneak peak of stencils from the June 1, 2024 release. I am posting just a couple of hours before the release, but I really wanted to use this card for the Inspiration challenge today.

The stencils are from A Colorful Life Design and named "Swirling Droplets", which I used on the bottom, along with "Flipping Dolphins" which is on top.

The colours are Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean. I also added water splatters and White Gouache.

The colours are beautiful and bright as I am using Dura-Bright paper. As I found out it takes quite some time for the paper to dry. So to help it along I applied a sealant. It still took a couple of hours.

My base card is Gina K Designs Blue Raspberry. I used it on the sentiments as well, then did heat embossing with white embossing powder.

The sentiment are both from older sets, but worked perfectly for this card so I went ahead and used them. The sentiment on the front is Hero Arts and the sentiment inside is from Joy Crafts.

I stamped the sentiments on the blue raspberry cardstock and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

On the inside I used the Swirling Droplets stencil along with Salvaged Patina distress oxide ink.
