Meet "Coffee".
I made this card for today's Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. We are visiting with Carla Bank for the challenge today.
The inspiration for my card comes from this Heart acrylic painting. I do not want to deal with acrylic paint, so I have used distress oxide inks for my colours and mugs!
The only colour that is the same is the actual mug, the colours of the designs are all different! That took a bit of figuring I dare say!
The stencil is a two part stencil by A Colorful Life Designs and called Layered Cups 1 and 2. I can tell you that the mug itself is Tattered Rose.
For the 2nd part of the stencil I randomly pulled colours out of their spot in my cabinet and used them to colour. For all of the colours I used my Prism Studio blending brushes which I love and are perfect for this kind of detail.
I then turned my attention to the inside of my card. For this I used another stencil by A Colorful Life Designs called Under the Table.
For the mug I once again used the Tattered Rose distress oxide ink, and a bunch of different colours for the letters.
