Pretty Butterfly

 

This is "Pretty Butterfly".

In my mini Misti I stamped the butterfly which is by Pinkfresh and called "Butterflies". To colour I used the following Copic markers: R20, R21, R22; BG32, BG34, BG57; and C9. I then die cut the Butterfly  using the coordinating die.

Using Spellbinders Basic Borders die I cut papers from my stash to use in my design. I had to do some surgery to allow everything to fit it, but that is card making!

I used the pattern part of the papers in the centre of the design and kept the borders light.

Once I was finished with the card front I die cut the frame using a Penny Black die called Stitched Frames. I used the largest frame and glued it in place using Art Glitter glue.

I then added the Butterfly using foam squares.

I had a small piece of the light card left over, which I used inside the card, along with a sentiment which says "Embrace this moment".

I finished up my card front with some embellishments of Pinkfresh gems and A Colorful Life Design sequins.
