Meet "Sweet".
This is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. My inspiration came from these trays.
I decided to use Altenew's embossing folder called Curving Leaves for this card along with Hammermill cardstock. Using Twisted Citron distress oxide I ran the ink pad over the embossed piece adding the ink.
I added three layers of colour with the ink pads to get good coverage. I also went in with a Copic marker YG03, which the green and touched up some of the leaves.
The inside of the card has the same embossing folder with the same technique applied, but it is missing a verse as I am thinking about what I may use it for.
Yes, it could be Canada Day.
In my mini Misti I stamped the Beaver by Avery Elle called Maple Syrup and coloured using Copics in Y15 for the Bird, C9 for the Tail, E99, E39, E19 for the Beaver and R27 for the Maple Leaf.
I also stamped the sentiment using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
The inside is blank for now, but when I decide what I will use the card for I will add the appropriate sentiment.
