Take Time

This is "Take Time".

When you read the sentiment the title will make sense. For this card I decided to keep it clean and simple and let the paper do the talking with the tiny flowers in blues with gold stems and leaves.

The background being the soft blues allows the flowers to pop and stand out from the other items in the paper and the gold adds something different to the look.

I do not make cards where all I use is the designer paper often. But this paper was the perfect piece for this kind of use I think, and it was sent to me by a fellow Splitcoaststamper.

I used A2 Taylored Expressions Postage Stamp stacklets to cut the designer paper to add a bit of interest to the card. The paper on the inside of the card was on the back of the designer paper, so I photocopied it and used it on the inside.

I also die cut the paper used inside with the same postage stamp die and glued the papers in place on a Neenah 110lb white cardbase.

I stamped the sentiments from Honey Bee Stamps using My Favorite Flower stamps and dies using watermark ink and Brutus Monroe Gilded Sparkle embossing powder.

The sentiment on the inside is also heat embossed with the same embossing powder.

Isn't this paper fun? I love it and I think it works great for the inside of my card.

Thanks so much for your visit today. I hope you have enjoyed this simple card.

See you next time.
