This is Dr. Suess Road stencil in the background with a royalty free Dr. Suess picture. Dr. Suess to me means bright fun happy colours, which is where I went with this stencil.
I used distress oxide inks in Barn Door, Mustard Seed, Broken China, Twisted Citron, Carved Pumpkin and Mowed Lawn.
This is "Off Road" stencil. Another card where I went with bright happy colours being Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Kitsch Flamingo and Salty Ocean.
The car is Landscape Road car which I coloured with Copic markers in B29, Y38, RV25, BV23 and 100. The sentiment is from Waffle Flower.
For the inside of the card I spritzed the stencil and put it down on white Hammermill card, allowing the colours to transfer. I die cut another card and added the one word sentiment which is from Pinkfresh Stamps.
This is Mid Century Waves stencil. I used Salvaged Patina, Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon, along with white Gouache.
Stamped the sentiment, which is from Stampendous and called Ocean Sayings, which I also used on the inside which follows.
Again I spritzed the stencil and turned it over on white card to transfer to the cardstock and finish for the card inside.
This is Mid Century Wavy Dot Triangles stencil. For this I did some taping and added different distress oxide colours to each of the squares.
My colours starting from top left are Kitsch Flamingo, Saltwater Taffy, Barn Door, Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Bundled Sage, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Salvaged Patina. (Phew!)
I did a light transfer of the colours used for the inside of my card and stamped the sentiment which is from Avery Elle.
This stencil is Mid Century Buds.
I stenciled using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn on the leaves, along with Ripe Persimmon and bling from A Colorful Life Designs for the flower.
The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Stamps and called Heart Smiles.
On to a few cards that I did not photograph the insides, but they are decorated.
This stencil is Mid Century Mod Pods and so fun! I coloured with Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron, and stamped the sentiment which is from Avery Elle.
Mid Century Jacks and Balls stencil. I used Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon for colours, and die cut the Hi which I coloured with the Peacock Feathers.
This next stencil is Mid Century Pyramids. It is a larger stencil, but as you can see, it is easy to use on a A2 card. I used Victorian Velvet and Seedless Preserves and added a couple of Bows from Picket Fence Studios called A Bow for any Reason.
My last card for today is using "Around the World" stencil. I kept it pretty simple, using Tea Dye and Brished Corduroy and added a "time" sentiment.
I hope you have enjoyed the cards I have made for this release. There are of course other stencils included in this release which can be found at A Colorful Life Designs, July release.
