Butterfly and Daisy

 

Meet "Butterfly and Daisy".

It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today Linda is our hostess and she has asked that we view this video for our lesson.

I watched the video earlier today and decided I really like the blues so I was going to keep that for my painting.

To paint I used Daniel Smith watercolours in Manganese Blue, Violet, Phthalo Blue, Hookers Green dark, Cadmium Yellow and Indian Yellow mixed with a bit of orange along with Payne's Gray.

There is nothing I like more that a Daisy painted in blue tones, there is something about the look of these flowers.

I added splatters with the Phthalo Blue and when dry attached my watercolour to a blue card base using Art Glitter glue.

I am pretty happy with this card. I feel like it will acutally get sent out to someone.
