Flip Flop Chevron

Meet "Flip Flop Chevron".

I watched a video showing this design and thought it might be fun to try out. Little did I know there was important information missing from the video!

But, as cardmakers do, I forged ahead. But if you wonder why I have score lines down the centre of the solid colours, think no further!

I have this card made, and I will use it for my pattern next time around. The patterned paper is from Echo Park and my stash and the cardbase is Gina K. Designs along with Hammermill cardstock on the cover.
The flower is from Spellbinders called Styish Oval Hello You Floral. I coloured the flower using Copics in RV11 and Rv14; YG41 and YG45. For the flower centre I used a gold gel pen.

The sentiment is from the same set, which I die cut 3 times and coloured using Copic RV14. I then glued the letters together using Art Glitter glue and attached to the front of the card.

I had another moment while making this card and that was droping an already glued gem on the card which left a footprint where I did not want any. Alas, deal with it right?

So I have a few more gems on this card than I would have like,.

For the inside I used a left over piece of the designer paper which I used on the front of the card. I added another one of the florals from the Spellbinders set which I coloured with a RV14 marker 3 times to get the darker look. I also added the gold gel pen.

The sentiment is by Waffle Flower called Hello Friend which I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card, and my mistakes!

See you next time.
