Follow the Rainbow

 

Meet "Follow the Rainbow".

I have been wanting to make this card for awhile now, but there was always a reason why it had to wait. As I sit here now typing this up, it looks like rain is on the way, so maybe we will get a Rainbow.

I used Spellbinder's Basic Border Etched Dies for this card, die cutting the colours of the Rainbow. I started with red and ended with red due to spacing, but I think it still works.

For my sentiments I used Honey Bee stamps and dies Look for the Rainbow set stamping using Pinkfresh Inks in Sapphire on the card front, and Candy Apple for the inside.

As I mentioned it took a bit of fiddling with the spacing, but no matter how I did it I still had to add the red bottom to the card. I could have used a different die I suppose but I wanted to use this die.

The set has 4 different dies to pick from. They are all really cute and are long enough for slimline cards as well.

I wanted to do something on the inside which included the colours, but I could not find the stamp I planned on using -  sheez!

So for now I left it with the stamped "Rainbow".
