This is "Hello Floral".
Like most of my cards, this card has a story to tell. While I will save you the details, lets just say the foiling for the background gave me a run for my money!
I was determined I would use it however, and now that it is done I very much like the background, and the design of my card.
For the flowers I coloured them using Copic markers, first with a coat of R14, then RV14 which gives me a colour I just love. On the flower centres I used Y28.
When finished with the colouring I styled the flowers a bit, then glued the three sets together. On a piece of white Neenah card I stamped the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, then die cut them using the coordinating dies which come in a set.
I then attached the foiled background to my Neenah card front using foam tape. I gave the flowers a bit more styling, then glued them in place.
To finish the card I added the sentiments to the front using Art Glitter glue.
Inside the card I attached another of the foiled pieces, then added the die cut sentiment in place using Art Glitter glue.
It took a lot to get here, but I have finished the card! Yay me!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
See you next time.
