This is "Holiday Joy".
A Christmas card I did for a challenge this is Penny Black's Feather Trio which I think is such a sweet image. To start I stamped the image using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black on Hammermill cardstock.
I coloured using Copic markers and a lot of different colours being R05, R35; E33, E35,Y13 and R12; C3, C9; YG21, YG23, YG25 and B41 along with a white gel pen on the eyes.
The sentiments on the front and inside the card are from the stamp set Say It With Stamps Holiday Wreath which I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
I ordered the set of Distress Spritz which has arrived, so I decided to give them a squirt for the inside of my card. I used the colour Barn Door.
I do wish there was a way you could see the actual shine, one day!
If you love to colour as I do, this is such a fun stamp to have. You know that it is a favourite of mine because of the birds, which I love to colour.
I think next time I will do this stamp using watercolour, which would be very pretty.
If you look closely at the bigger circles you can see the shine.
