Meet "Mod Pods Floral".
I was in the mood for something a little different which took me to my stencil collection. I decided upon a stencil by A Colorful Life Designs called Mod Pods.
To change it up a bit I did heat embossing for colour using Nuvo embossing powder in Ballerina Pink and Snow Crystal on mixed media paper.
I then die cut the flower which is from Scrapbook.com and called Scalloped Flower. It is a die that was a freebie several months ago, and I really like it.
I attached the background to a pink card base using foam tape. I then styled and attached the flower, finishing with a Pinkfresh gem and attaching using a foam square.
I then added a few sequins from A Colorful Life Designs.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from Honey Bee stamps and called My Favorite Flower using VersaFine Clair ink in Charming Pink and die cut it using the coordinating die.
I am happy with how this card turned out and I hope you enjoy it as well.
I did not yet do the inside of the card, but will finish it later today. I keep running out of time! Geez!!
Thank you for visiting today.
See you next time.
