This is "New Day".
For this card I used papers from an Echo Park paper pack called New Day. I even used the sentiment that is included in the pack.
I have never used a paper pack in this way before, so it was fun to pick out what I would use and still make a pretty card.
The circles I die cut using the same size die for the front and inside of the card which is by Spellbinders. The yellow flower is something I have had in my stash for years, and I do mean "years"!
The flower is propped up on foam squares for added dimension on the card front.
The sentiment inside the card is also die cut with the same die I used here on the front of the card.
I really love this paper along with the coordinating papers of this pack. All the papers work so beautifully together.
And of course, I love the little birdie that sends my greeting to the recipient, he is perfect.
Inside the card I used the paper that I used for the circle die on the front of the card, which coordinates perfectly.
I do hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it. A simple card made with pretty papers.
