This is "The Beauty of a Snowflake".
When I went to the Inspiration site, Suzy Toronto earlier this week I searched for winter as I wanted to do another Christmas card. Alas nothing came up. It did not dawn on me until today that I should search for Christmas.
The joke was on me, I did not find anything that suited what I wanted to make. But as I kept looking I came across this note card on their Pinterest site which had the colours I wanted to use.
The paper is a piece that I scanned and sized to make it smaller, to 4 1/8th by 5 3/8th inches. I printed two on Hammermill cardstock.
Using Copic B18 I went around the edges of the paper on both pieces that I printed to give a finished look and glued both pieces in place using Art Glitter glue.
Using Lawn Fawn's Window Wonderland Window die to cut out the arched frame, which includes the snowflakes that are attached to the frame.
I coloured the snowflakes that are attached to the frame using Copic B41. I then attached the frame to the card front using foam strips.
I die cut the other snowflakes using Neenah cardstock and added Nuvo Glitter Gloss to each of the snowflakes, which inluded the snowflakes which I glued inside the frame.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiments on the front of the card using a sentiment from Penny Black Christmas Comfort stamp set, and for the inside a sentiment by Photoplay called Winter Chalet.
I also added a couple of snowflakes to the inside of the card.
Thanks sio much for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
