Meet "Wavy Dots".
That is the short name for the stencil, which is from A Colourful Life Designs and called Mid Century Wavy Dots Triangles! That is a mouthful!
This past weekend I worked on stencils for the upcoming release in August. I certainly enjoyed myself and I think you all will love the stencils.
But, back to this stencil. I am using Distress Oxide inks to colour in 4 different colours, being Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo and Tumbled Glass.
I think my tumbled glass needs reinking as it was difficult to apply. It kind of drags when it needs reinking so I should pay more attention.
I decided I would not add a sentiment to the front of the card as I did not want to break up the design. I know some think that there must always be a sentiment, but I disagree, expeically if it will interupt a design.
To finish the design on the front I added Pinkfresh gems in two different sizes to the front of the card, alternating with large then medium gems.
On the inside of the card I spritzed the inked up stencil that I used on the front and put it down on a piece of Hammermill cardstock for the inside, putting it aside to dry.
Once dry I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Charming Pink. The sentiment is by Waffle Flower and called Hello Friend.
I do hope you enjoy this card and I thank you for visiting.
See you next time.
