While I had this embossing folder our I decided I would use it to make another Christmas card. This year I am determined not to run out of time, seeing as many of my cards need to go to the States and overseas.
I used Altenew's Poinsettia embossing folder for this card. I then added Sparkle Markers by Spectrum Noir in Clear to all the leaves on the card. To the berries I added Gold Wink of Stella.
I add a couple of layers of the Sparkle markers so there is a lot of shine on this card, which looks so pretty IRL.
I had originally thought I would do a 5.5 square card, but changed my mine. Instead I cut this card to make an A2 and added the left over piece to the inside of the card.
It is done completely in Gold Wink of Stella. Yes I know, looks like nothing and that is because of the fold of the card. But it is there, trust me.
I love how the card just shines, depending on the angle you have it. When I took it outside in the sun I was amazed at how beautiful it was.
Funny what a bit of shimmer can do!
Just bits of the gold show up, but it is applied to all of the leaves. I had to face the card toward the window to get the shimmer to show.
I added the Noel die cut sentiment from Scrapbook.com, which I love.
Thank you for joining me today.
See you next time.
