Meet "Friends are Family".
This is Bunny and Duckling" stamp and die by Colorado Craft Company. Oh so cute, it was one of those "had to have" stamps and dies.
I think these little sets need a background to set the stage, and I found that with this embossing folder which is by Spellbinders and called Flowers and Foliage.
I wanted to add some colour to the folder, so once I embossed the image via my Platinum 6 machine I added "Mint" by Pinkfresh Inks, starting from the embossed edge then attached the piece using Art Glitter glue.
In my mini Misti I stamped the Bunny, Duckling and 10 flowers using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
To colour the Bunny and Duckling I used Copic markers in the following colours. Duckling Y06, Y08 and YR18; Bunny E40, E70, E13 and E55 with Y08, G43 and G82 for the flower.
I then die cut them using the coordinating dies as noted above and propped them up using foam strips to the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and propped it up on the un-embossed piece at the bottom of the card using foam strips then added flowers on each side of the sentiment attached with foam squares.
When embossing the first embossing folder I also embossed one for the inside of the card, with this embossed fully. I did the same technique adding the ink to the surface of the print using the "Mint" in by Pinkfresh Inks.
I attached the piece using Art Glitter glue. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and glued it in place using Art Glitter glue, which I also used to attach the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
