Meet "Landscape Rose".
This floral die is by Spellbinders as part of Susan Tierney-Cockburn's collection of flower dies. I very much liked the simplicity of it.
I did die cut three flowers out as that was my original plan. But once I decided on the embossing folder to use, which is also by Spellbinders and called Leafy, I changed my design using one flower instead of three.
I felt the flower was very pretty, and stood on its own beautifully. So I have a few flowers left to make a card another time.
For colours on the flower I used Copic markers to the following: RV21, RV23, RV13; Y35, Y08; G07, G28; YR23.
To put the card together I attached the embossed piece using Art Glitter glue. I then attached the flower, putting it together as I was doing so using Art Glitter glue for this as well. On the yellow stamens I added Copic YR23 then snipped in the centre of each, giving the stamen a more full look.
I stamped sentiments from My Favorite Flower set by Honey Bee stamps using VersaFine Clair ink in Charming Pink and die cut using the coordinating dies.
I attached the sentiments using foam squares on the card front and the thin foam squares on the sentiment inside the card.
The embossed piece I cut to 4x5.25 to finish the inside using Art Glitter glue for this as well. I added the sentiment on thin foam squares and glued in place the tiny flower from another project.
Thanks so much for looking today. I do hope you enjoy this card.
See you next time.
