Meet "Love You".
Despite having this stamp set called Love You to Pieces for awhile, this is the first time that I have used it. When I picked it out to use I immediately felt that it had to be in red and you probably all know the reason why!
It is a fun stamp set for that special person in your life. I stamped using Lumberjack Plaid oxide ink and VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
To get the very dark black I allowed the ink to dry between each stamping, so it was layering the ink that I was applying.
I went around the letters using a black Sharpie fine point pen in a connecting the dots fashion instead of following the outline, which would have been too wonky I think.
I finished the stamping with the hearts, then die cut the piece using an old die from Birch Press Designs which they no longer manufacture. That is not a good reason to not use your older dies though!
How do you like me die cutting the hearts upside down? Seriously, I did not even consider that when I was die cutting the pieces! Clearly I am not awake yet!
You call can laugh with me over that one.
To finish I stamped the X and O using the same ink on another upside down heart panel! I had to keep it consistent! I decided I would not go around the outside with the black marker, keeping the look clean.
I hope you have had a laugh with me, and that you enjoyed this card despite the mishaps!
Thank you for joining me.
See you next time.
