Sweet Jasmine

 

Meet "Sweet Jasmine".

This embossing folder is from Altenew, and I have done my favourite thing with embossing folders, and that is to colour them.

Which is what I have done here. I first ran the folder with a piece of Neenah cardstock that I spritzed through my Spellbinder Platinum machine.

I then start to colour using Copic markers. For this Jasmine I looked online to see what might tickle my fancy, and came upon an Italian Jasmine. Ever so beautiful, so away I went.

My copic colours are YG07, YG09; Y11, Y08, Y19; R17. I went around the entire piece using Copic B21. The frame is also done using Copic Y19.

I then attached the two layers to my Neenah card base using Art Glitter glue.

For my sentiments I am using Waffle Flower sentiments called Hello Friend. In my mini Misti I placed my card front and stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

For the card inside I made another frame using the Y19 and added the inside sentiment, again using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

I do have to look for a few floral stamps that I can use inside my cards which I think would glam it up a bit rather than just the stamped sentiment.
