This is "Black Cats".
I love this adorable simple image of a Decorative Black Cat Mini Die. so I had to get it. I managed to get it as a freebie while shopping at Scrapbook.com, but now I see it is for sale, so the freebie is over.
I die cut the three cats out using Gina K Designs Black Onyx cardstock. I then cut out the balance of the dies using white cardstock. To colour where needed I used Copic markers in RV52 for the nose, which is a light pink, and RV55 for the brighter pink i.e. ears etc.
I also die cut the shadow die using vellum.
My cardbase is Neenah cardstock 110lb. I die cut the black border using an old Penny Black die, which adds dimension.
I also coloured the whiskers as I wanted something a little different so I used Copic C5 to colour and glued them on using Art Glitter glue, which I also used to glue in place the bows, which are by Picket Fence Studios.
To attach the cats to the front of my card I used foam squares. I again cut a second piece of the Penny Black die for the inside of my card, and glued it in place using Art Glitter glue.
The cat and sentiment inside the card are digital stamps from The Cat's Pajamas. I printed them using Hammermill cardstock and fussy cut.
Thanks so much for joining me today.
I had fun making this card, so I hope you enjoy it too!
See you next time.
