This is "Doe, Buck and Fawn".
I have made this card for the Inspiration Challenge today at Splitcoaststampers.com. My inspiration came from this art print.
I do not draw, or should I say I cannot draw! I have never taken lessons, but to be honest I don't really want to, I think I have enough on my plate.
So for now, I will do what I think works for an art picture.
And yes, I think this works. I die cut the three deer using Tim Holtz Darling Deer die set cutting from Neenah cardstock to give them strength.
For the background I embossed white Hammermill cardstock using Altenew's Organic Linen embossing folder.
Using Art Glitter glue I attached the Organic Linen embossed piece to the card front, and also attached a piece I did for the inside using the same embossing folder.
Using a black Sharpie marker I added the outline of the animals, making it almost appear like I had done the drawing. I also added a bit of ground around the deers hooves.
I have left this card clean and simple as I think it looks best like this. I like the black against the very white background.
I have to finish the inside, once I figure out what I will use this card for, so I have left it for now.
Thanks so much for visiting today.
See you next time.
