Happy for You

This is "Happy for You".

My friend Joyce needed to do a wedding card for an upcoming wedding she was going to. So we decided we would work on it together and this is what we came up with.

We are using Spellbinders "Blooms", which has an abundance of dies to pick from. Also, where necessary we used foam squares for additional height along with dimension.

We die cut all the pieces using white Hammermill cardstock, then proceeded to colour using Pinkfresh Inks. I dare say we had every Pinkfresh ink I own out and then decided we would keep the green to one colour of green, that being Grassy Knoll

Instead of different colours of green, we shaded if necessary.

Starting the card we used a Neenah cardbase and attached a Spellbinders 3D embossed piece of Hammermill card using the Flowers and Foliage folder.

One was also done for the inside of the card using the same paper.

Some of the other colours we used are Soft Lilac, Turquoise, Seaside, Passion Fruit, Coral Reef and Summer Shower. I also added a few Pinkfresh gems around the card.

I should mention after attaching the embossed piece to the cardbase, we added a Spellbinders circle die cut to the card which adds more layers to the design.

As you can see we added the embossed background inside the card, along with a sentiment with wishes, as this is a wedding card along with two more of the larger flowers.

We were both pleased with the outcome, and hope you enjoy it as well. Thank you for joining Joyce and I today.

See you next time.
