Holly Nosegay

 

This is "Holly Nosegay" which is part of the September release by A Colorful Life Designs. We held this stencil set back to send it out today for some mid month Inspiration.

My card is 5.5" square, using a Neenah cardstock base. My layers are Gina K Designs Red Hot cardstock. The layer of gold is cardstock I made using Delicata Gold Glitz ink.

I stenciled on Hammermill cardstock using Pinkfresh Inks in Spruce Tips, Eucalyptus and Candy Apple, along with the Delicata Gold Glitz.

The sentiment is stamped with the Candy Apple ink. I put together the front of the card, using the pieces I had prepared, and attached all to the cardbase using Art Glitter glue.

I then added white gel pen strokes on the leaves and the cherries for highlights. Added to that I applied Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to the cherries.

I also went over the tendrils using the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer.

To finish up the front panel I stamped the sentiment using Pinkfresh Candy Apple ink, then I turned my attention to the inside of my card.

I added a bit of the Nosegay to the bottom corner of the page, using the same inks.

Around the edges I smeared on some of the Delicata Gold Glitz ink, then stamped the sentiment which is from Penny Black Stamps. I added a white layer to the card, then the red layer, finishing with the stenciled layer.
