Meet the "Merry Mugs".
These dies are from Spellbinders and they are just too cute! I very much enjoyed myself while making this card.
As I have previously mentioned I am a member of the Spellbinders 3D embossing folder club which is where the folder in the background is from and I really love it! I attached the folder to my Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue.
Anyway, for my card today I decided to use Christmas paper from my stash! I cannot believe I have not gone online looking for what is new, but kept to my promise to myself to use what I have.
I have yet to make that promise with respect to new toys though, and this Spellbinder's set is one of those. It is called Merry Mug Creations Etched Dies.
I pretty much used every piece that they have included in the set, with some pieces used twice. It was fun to use Christmas paper for the mugs. I am lucky enough to have Christmas dishes, not because I bought them, but they were bought for me over years of collecting!
When attaching the cups I glued the top red one in place, then added foam squares to the lower cup lifting it a bit to make room for everything in the red cup.
I coloured the items in the cups with Copic makers using Christmas colours.
For the inside I added another piece of the embossed background. I then added the sentiment Merry Christmas with a white background and Copic coloured words and finished adding some red gems.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who use my links, which I always use to buy more toys to share with you. Thank you!
