Pumpkin Patch

This is the September 2024 3D Embossing folder for Club members. Needless to say I was thrilled when I saw it and no doubt I will find many uses for this folder.

Starting with this card I wanted to keep it sort of monochromatic, but not entirely. I think I was successful with this.

I am using my Spellbinders machine with Universal Plate System to emboss this image, embossing two images for my card. One for the outside and another for the inside of my card.

For colour I am using Pinkfresh Inks in Clementine and Sweet Mustard, going around the card edges with the Clementine, and using the Sweet Mustard in the centre.

I did the inking in layers to get a darker colour around the edges and put a kick in the Sweet Mustard. Such a beautiful colour!

I then stamped the pumpkin and the leaves, as well as the pumpkins I used on the inside of the card. In my Misti I arranged the stamps, inked them up and spritzed with water before stamping.

This gives that watercolour appearance, which of course we all love! The pumpkin stamps and dies are from Pigment Craft Co.

Inside the card I trimmed the embossed piece down to 4x5.25", then used the same colours as I did on the front of the card. I also added the two small pumpkins along with an older Pinkfresh sentiment which I just love by Picket Fence.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enoyed this card.

See you next time.
