Birds and Branches

 

This is "Birds and Branches".

I made this card for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Angela is our hostess and she asked that we view this video. I very much enjoyed watching the video, it was so relaxing.

As the artist did I painted using Kraft cardstock along with white and red paints. My birds are suppose to look like they are landing on the branches.

I painted on the branches, and in some cases added a second coat where required. I think the birds still need another layer of colour.

I also added splatters of red using Cadmium Red, which is also what I used for the birds. I then set the card aside to dry.

Once dry, in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment which is from Hero Arts using Pinkresh Candy Apple red and adding a few layers of ink.
