Meet "Cute Scarecrow".
This adorable Scarecrow is from Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club which I joined at the begining of September and right off I am loving this adorable die set.
Often I die cut everything I need from white cardstock and colour with my Copic markers. I changed that for this Scarecrow instead cutting the pieces from coloured cardstock.
It does take more time, but I think the end results are better for the time spent.
For my background I did smooshing using Tumbled Glass and Broken China Oxide Inks. Once dry I attached the piece to my card front using Art Glitter glue.
I also made one for the inside of my card using the same colours and techmique.
To attach the die cuts to my card front I used foam squares along with touches of Art Glitter glue where necessary. The hands and feet look lighter than what they actually are.
They are cut from watercolour paper which leans to the off white side.
On the inside I added a few left over die cuts and stamped the Boo which is from Concord and 9th die set called Playful Pumpkins. I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle.
Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you enjoy this card.
See you next time.
