Penguin Family

 

Meet "Penguin Family".

I have to say, this stamp of Penguins by Crafters Companion is too darn cute! Yep, there is a lot of black to colour in, but still, it is such a sweet stamp.

In my mini Misti I stamped the Penguins using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then proceeded to colour in the details, using Copic markers in C1, C3, C4, YR15, YR18 and 100.

Once the colouring was completed I die cut the penguins using the coordinating die that comes with the stamp set.

I then set about to make the rest of the card. I picked designer paper Lawn Fawn's Let It Shine "Snowflakes" book of papers with a coordinating piece for the inside of my card.

For the Snowflake which is by Paper Rose I cut using Halographic Paper. It is such a beautiful paper and reflects in so many colours.

For my card base I am using Gina K Designs cardstock in Sea Glass. I then layered the designer paper over the cardbase and the snowflake die over that and attached the Penguins using foam strips.

For the inside I picked a coordinating paper to the paper on the front of my card.

For the sentiment I used Picket Fence Inside Quotes Christmas, which has many sentiments to choose from, that I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze.
