Sweet Christmas

Meet "Sweet Christmas".

This certainly was a fun card to make! I made it for today's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. My inspiration for the cookies came from this picture of goodies.

For this card I started with my background made for a Neenah cardbase. The background is a die by Spellbinders called Super Stripes Background die which I coloured using Copic markers in R46.

I then stamped and die cut the cookies from the stamp set which is called "Sweet Christmas". using Copic markers in E13, E35, R46, B12 and YR07.

I also stamped the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip Red. To pull it together on the card front I attached the background stripes piece using Art Glitter glue.

I then attached the cookies and sentiments using foam circles and strips.

To the icing and the Santa Hat trim I applied Nuvo Shimmer pen, which unfortunately does not show up in the picture.

For the inside I stamped and die cut the background die again, and another snowman along with the Candy Cane, and die cut both using the coordinating dies, and attaching with thin foam dots.

This card had me smiling throughout as I was making it. Such cute stamps and dies.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today.

See you next time.
