Meet "Wishing You".
We all have stamps in our collections that we just love and this is another one of those stamps for me, so I am making a point to include it for my Christmas cards this year.
Every year I make a lot of Christmas cards and send them out in the mail to let my friends know I am thinking about them this holiday season. I thought the Conifer Wreath by Penny Black made for the perfect card.
I decided to watercolour this card, so I stamped on Arches cold press watercolour paper using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa.
I then proceeded to watercolour using my Daniel Smith watercolours. As there is a fair mount of brown on this I kept the sprigs in the greens.
Once I finished watercolour the pinecones and sprigs I added watercolour inside the wreath and slightly outside the wreath for some further interest.
I attached the finished watercolour piece to a blue cardstock base using Art Glitter glue. I also painted a piece for the inside of my card.
I attached that piece in place, again using the Art Glitter glue.
In my Misti I stamped both of the sentiments using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle which finished my card.
Such a fun card to make, I am so pleased I picked it out to include this year.
Thanks so much for your visit today.
See you next time.
