This is "A Wedding Shower"
I made this card for a friend who needed a card for an upcoming Shower for her soon to be sister-in-law. I made two cards for the event, sharing the second card below.
Both of these are digital stamps, this one by Mo's Digital Pencil. I love this image, hence could not resist it when looking.
I kept the colouring like the picture shown of the gown using Copic markers with just two colours, being RV11 and Y15.
I attached the image to a Recollections card base in a light pink, then added the sentiments, adding colour around the edges in the opposit colour of the card base.
Inside the card I added the sentiment, again using colours from the gown.
My second card for the occassion is quite different from the first card. I have made these cards for two different people, hence the different looks. This image is by Colorado Craft Company, along with the sentiments on both cards.
I kept this card in the "greens", a favourite colour of one of the ladies.
The trim is done using Gina K Designs cardstock in Jelly Bean Green on a Neenah cardbase. I used Hammermill cardstock for the top layer.
This was such a fun image to colour with all the different gifts to colour in, yet have them matching each other so as to not throw the colour balance off.
I used a bunch of different colours for the gifts, so many and of course I forgot to write those ones down, sorry! I do know I used Y28, but after that I am not sure.
I do think it is such a cute image and perfect for a wedding shower.
I also kept the inside pretty simple, with this sentiment, which is also part of the set by Colorado Craft Company.
I do hope you have enjoyed these cards. I certainly enjoyed my journey with them.
See you next time.
