Meet "Accordion Fold" card.
I saw this fancy fold card online, but did not know the name of it. Alas I winging it, then today when I was looking I found the name, yay!
The directions call for the card to be 5.25 inches tall, but I did mine 5.5" as I make my own envelopes when necessary so I don't need to accomodate for the thickness of the card.
I used designer paper from the Honeysuckle Collection by Crafters Companion along with Honey Mustard cardstock by Gina K. Designs.
I trimmed the designer paper using gold mirror cardstock. For my sentiments I used Pinkfresh stamps and dies Joyful Day which I stamped using Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne.
I attached the sentiments to the inside back cover as well as the back of the small card.
It is a "fun fold" to make, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Instructions: cut a piece of cardstock 5.4" or 5.5 x 11". Turn the paper and start the scoring on the left side. (I say this as my friend is left handed and ended up doing the card for as she says "a left handed person")
Score at 1 3/4, 3.5, 5.25 and 7 inches.
For the tiny card in the middle, cut a 3" x 6" piece of cardstock and fold in half. Decorate to you liking.
The card is attached to the first part of folds and 4th part of fold using glue. The folds are mountain, valley, mountain, valley.
