Meet "Christmas Wishes".
I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com where we are visiting The Wreath Shop, which also has a Pinterest page.
The inspiration for my card came from this ornament, which I think is so pretty, I would love one for "real" on my tree!
For my card I am using Winter Wishes Snowflake by Colorado Craft Company, which I stamped with VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossed using light pink embossing powder on a recollections pink cardbase.
Using pink and white I added splatters to the front of my card. I then added the snowflake embellishments with cyrstal tops.
For the sentiment I am using Spellbinders Handmade Sentiments dies. I added the Christmas Wishes to the front of the card, which I backed with a piece of paper that I coloured black so as to not add bulk.
I added splatters using watercolour in Daniel Smith Quinacridone Rose along with Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White.
Once dry I added the snowflake sequins in both pink and white topped with a tiny crystal.
I decided to add all three of the sentiments to the inside of the card, along with a few snowflakes. Again I added a black piece of paper to the background of the sentiments.
I very much enjoyed making this card today, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Thank you for joining me today.
See you next time.
